‘If you want to change the world, pick up your pen and write.’ the great Martin Luther once said. Young Manikya Sanghi has not done that for himself, but also inspired many others to do the same. Manikya, now 14 years of age, holds multiple World Records including ‘Youngest Author of Fiction Novel Series’ and ‘Youngest Screenwriter’. He wrote his first book at the age of 5, first fiction novel at 9 years, and has never looked back since. Over these years, Manikya has written 9 Books, set 9 Records, and received 28 Awards. He was also recognized as Byju’s Young Genius by CNN TV18.

But, was his journey truly always about only achievements and success?

Not really. Manikya is a winner in many ways. As a child, he struggled hard and overcame a serious childhood illness by whole-heartedly adopting best of natural lifestyle methods. He eventually joined school in third grade and since then has reached greater heights each year.

Manikya’s literary work has received great recognition worldwide. But much greater than his achievements is the impact that his work has been creating in the lives of many people in different ways.

Manikya’s Fiction Novel Series titled ‘Chronicles of Tierra’ has received amazing reviews from readers which say how his stories have had a deep positive impact on their kids and their own lives.

Many readers have appreciated his deep understanding of life. They have observed how he makes intricate connections of human feelings, emotions, thinking and actions. The readers have also liked how Manikya is able to subtly weave socially relevant topics into entertaining fiction stories.

As an author, Manikya regularly organizes ‘Free Online Author Talks and Faq Sessions’ for budding authors. Participants have shown keen interest to know about and learn from Manikya’s own author journey. Many have drawn inspiration from it and taken one step forward to express and publish their own thoughts in the form of stories and poems.

In 2020, as the Head Boy of the Junior student council of his Presidium School, Manikya took the initiative to encourage his fellow students to write on various inspirational topics. With the help of his teachers, he also undertook a whole project in the school to compile and publish an anthology of stories and poems written by the students. Right from collecting all the stories, reading, editing, formatting to publishing, Manikya was involved very closely in all aspects of making this project a huge success. Finally the book titled ‘Stories and Poems for Kids by Leaders of Tomorrow – Students of Presidium School’ was inaugurated on the occasion of Children’s day in 2021.
