The story starts when a brown, fluffy little ground squirrel who happily opens his eyes and announces that his ‘hibernation is over’. However he does not find any humans in the park which always used to be bustling with people every morning.
He starts enjoying the fresh green, dew laden grass, but is missing the humans. Eventually he meets other animals and endangered birds who have returned to their rightful places in the park.
